From time to time during the year, Broadway House is used for "special events". This year (2023) we kept open to watch and celebrate the Coronation of HRH King Charles III, and earlier in the year to watch the funeral of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Most years we have a Christmas Party - held in the week before Christmas - free to all visitors between 2pm and 4pm. Savory and Sweet things to eat, including mince pies and tea and a glass of something tasty. A raffle or tombola to raise funds. The Charity's President - The Mayor of Felixstowe - comes to join in the fun and to wish everyone a "Happy Christmas".
Maundy Thursday - is "free hot-cross bun" day and some years we have an Easter Draw or Tombola.
"Birthday" summer tea party - to commemorate the opening of the original Senior Citizens Centre in 1975 is held or is combined with some other celebration.
